I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Thank you very much! I kind of invent an idea as I go along, as I composite images that seem to work well together. I often add the quote last to help support the idea I somehow arrived at.

Not sure where the quote came from - I picked it up from a nifty iPhone app called Quotationary that I often use.

Definitely! I'm not good with words...doesn't come easy to me. So I might have an idea on the "feel" of a piece, but not know how to phrase it. These quotes always wrap it all up in a nice little prose ribbon!

I have a hard time not putting any type of quote or lyric or personal journal with my image. It's almost as if I'm leaving them half dressed if I do. I know some say the images should tell the story, but I've got so many words running through my head during the entire creative journey... From the moment I shoot the picture, to the moment I decide it's complete, that I want to share those as well. They also become part of the image for me.

Agreed. To me, the words complete the image so I put as much thought into them as I do the image.
