The Mobitog.com 2012 52 - Week 40 = Red

Welcome to the Mobitog 52 - a weekly challenge to take a picture to a theme and challenge yourself to nail a shot at least once a week.

The Challenge is fairly simple - each week we will be updating this thread with the coming weeks theme, then participants go and shoot it that week and post the shot into their own 52 Thread in the Personal Projects Sub-Section = The MobiTog.com 52 - 2012 - titled for example Smooth's 2012 MobiTog 52 - iMage Thread where participants replace Smooth with their own name of course...

Every Sunday a new theme will be decided (by MobiStaff or an invited guest).

How it works:

• A theme is decided on Sunday/Early Monday (GMT)
• You think about the theme during the week and go off and shoot it
• You put this image into your own 52 Thread
• You tell us a bit about your shot; how did you interpret the theme? What apps did you use? Did you run into any difficulties? If you got the chance to shoot it again, what would you do differently?
• You comment and support others who are taking part in the 52 Challenge - offering decent feedback on their images
• Next theme is posted (and repeat throughout the year!).

JOKERS

Throughout the year you get THREE jokers to use - you can use these to either:

1) Shoot away from the theme that week by reshooting a theme that has already been.

2) Skip that week entirely.

There are no fixed rules for this challenge other than the usual:

The shot MUST be taken and edited on an iDevice (as ALL images on MobiTog.com must be)

The shot must be taken during that week for the 52 challenge.

You can of course, use your weekly image in other challenges, for example if you are doing a 365, or want to tie it in with one of the Hipsta/etc challenges.

There are no prizes for the 52, it is for your own satisfaction and to unite our global community. Although, if we have enough support, we could consider some sort of publication at the end of the year, perhaps picking the best iMage from each 52 - ideas will be welcome and developed as we progress (please post any comments on this and the 52 generally in this thread!)

Don't forget you have 3/52 Jokers if you can't cope with the nominated theme...

Just make it clear with your iMage that you are using 1 of 3, 2 of 3 or 3 of 3 when you do decide to use them so we can keep track...

By the way - you do not HAVE to use any, or all, of your Jokers...
