    Hipsta Combo Challenge Special
    Lens Distortion!

    CHOOSE A LENS..MAKE YOUR OWN COMBOS!

    Once again MobiTog presents a new twist on our normal Hipsta Combo Challenge formula. Instead of choosing between two combos we give you one element – and you pick the rest! :D

    This time theme is Lens Distortion! Listed below are four of Hipstamatic's more quirky lenses. Your challenge is to pick no more than two of them, add your own choice of film and flash (if required), then produce the best goldarn image you can!

    Choose from these..strange..Hipstamatic lenses:
    Matty ALN - look through ET's eyes!
    Salvador 84 - dabble in the Dali-esque!
    Tejas - warmth with an edgy darkness!
    Chunky - leak light across cinematic tones!
    Limit of 2 per person! :D

    What exactly do I do?
    · Select up to two lenses (only!) from the list above.
    · In Hipstamatic use the lens and any film of your choice to produce an image. Flash is optional (use it if you can but you won’t be penalised if you don’t).
    · Shoot your picture using any idevice (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad) of your choice.
    · Post it to this thread. State clearly which combination of lens, film and flash you used and add a title, to help identify it in the voting.
    · Hipstamatic is the only app you can use for this challenge.

    FAQ
    What if I don’t have the Hipstamatic lens listed?
    We hope that by having four choices there will be enough alternatives to give everyone a fighting chance.
    Can I enter more than one image?
    Yes, but please don’t go crazy! The more images you enter the more you risk splitting your total vote.
    Can I perform any extra processing on my image?
    No. We think it fairer if everyone produces a ‘nekkid’ image to best display their skill with the chosen combo.
    What Hipstamatic camera case can I use?
    Completely up to you. Knock yourself out!

    How to vote
    · Voting is by poll only.
    · After the challenge closes the voting poll will open listing all the entrants.
    · You can vote for as many images as you wish.
    · Please vote based on how well you think the image has used the chosen combo.
    · The winner will be the image with that receives the most votes.

    Specific Rules & Guidelines for the MobiTog Hipsta Combo Challenge Special:
    1. Select up to two items from the choice offered.
    2. Produce an image in Hipstamatic using the chosen items plus a lens of your own choice. Flash is optional.
    3. Submit your image to this thread along with the names of the films and lenses chosen (and if flash was used) plus a title. There must be no additional processing to the Hipstamatic shot you submit.
    4. The Challenge will run for most of one week from Wednesday, 18th April 2012, closing for entries on Tuesday, 24th April 2012.
    5. After the closing date MobiTog members can vote for their favourite images using the poll that will be posted.
    6. The winning image will be the one that has received the most votes after the poll is closed. In the event of a tie there will be a casting vote by a member of MobiTog’s site staff.

    sigh, now this is frustrating. I love this app, but the whole thing about having missed a whole slew of lens is driving me nuts. Out of the four choices this week, I have none-and I've bought every pack available since getting my phone. The Soho pack, which has the Chunky lens, shows as available on the website, but not my phone. I know this is nothing to do with this forum, just the app, but :( :( :(

    I am in Castle Douglas, a small town in the South West of Scotland. This was my view from the Italian restaurant that I ate at. I tried all the lenses, but went for this shot as it seemed even bleaker than the others.

    This is my first post to Mobitog, so if the text and image appear in some mysterious, unrelated place please bear with me. The challenge seemed interesting and among the posters are iPhoneArtists whom I truly admire, so I thought it a good place to introduce myself. This was shot earlier today while I waited for lunch to arrive. The lens used was Salvador 84 and the film was Blanko. No flash was used.
