Snapseed gone FREE and UPDATED!

Snapseed is now free and has been updated. Also new icon design.

I've just upgraded and I'm happy to say that it looks and works like the old version. The new filters look great. The only negative I can see at the moment is the preview screen when you first load a photo and the "use" button. I don't understand the point of this extra step and disrupts workflow IMO. I've only played for a bit but all seems well.

Funny, I held off buying this forever, bought it a month go because I was waiting for it to go free. given the amount of use I give it, no complaints about the MASSIVE $5 though

Good call on the frames, they've always been less than stellar for me.

All's well thanks. In truth I think I'd rather pay for this and get a rebate on the NIK products I use on the desktop, that's what makes my gripe so crazy, I think I dropped around $500 on NIK products on the desktop, well worth it though in my view.

Just updated, Retrolux is great!!!!! Frames remain pretty average.

A few selective adjustments in Snapseed followed by the Retrolux filter, Paint FX with HDR on trees, saturation on barn and brightness on all of foreground and then back to Snapseed for frame.

I have the Nik collection and I agree, well worth the money.

Love Snapseed. Almost the first photo app downloaded on my iPad. Awesome. I saw it goes free today, and my first reaction was, WOW...

One of the best apps my photos go first too into this app and the new Retrolux love it, but is it me or are a little variations on the edit options of the app for some reason i see details on Drama and the updated Frames cant change the size of the frame

In Drama was my mistake i push the Style and change everything so thats ok but in Frames i can find the option for Fill and Width the frame used to be on center using the traditional system of Snapseed usign your fingers let me put some pics , this is the new with the building Snapseed and in the old one a geometric figure you can see those options that now i cant find them btw your pic looks great

My favorite app on iPhone and iPad. I hope Google is going to support this app for a long time.

Maybe it's an iPad thing, but I've never had those options (those on the geometric figure) on the iPhone. It just gives the "shuffle" option for each frame which cycles the style through different width/fill options - with a narrow range. I'd love to be able to change the width/fill to something I've planned. Though shuffle is fun too.

Finally the recent update of Snapseed is giving back this feature!!
