    As part of our large server upgrade we are now all set. The slight initial issue with image uploading has now also been fixed.

    Thank you all SO much for your patience - it is greatly appreciated. We hope you all enjoy using the site with its performance upgrades.

    Note for app users: you might need to close the app completely by holding the home button and relaunch to get up and running again.

    Please let us know in this thread if you notice anything out of place. Thanks!

    Hopefully Parse Errors are a thing of the past.

    Think of it like an engine upgrade from a 1.2 to a 8 litre turbocharged engine with NOS!

    Hi Smooth,

    As I let you know in a message I am having problems uploading files.
    This uploading is being done through Chrome.
    I have not tried the app yet but will do so when I get home and have wifi access again.

    Other than that everything is hunky dory! :D

    The uploading was a known issue, which I have fixed. Am uploading fine via Chrome at work. Could you report back? Thanks!

    Hi Smooth,

    I managed to upload a file (1536x1536, 256k) fine but a different file (2048x2048, 1.01Mb) is failing.
    The smaller file uploaded fine (in the latest Mobimono thread) but did create a duplicate post.
    Let me know if I can help you further.

    I have tried flushing my browser history and restarting my browser too. This made no difference either.
    Next I will try resizing the image down to below 1M and see what happens.

    I just uploaded today's 366 and I received the parse error. :( I did the usual and closed out the app, and when I went back in it was posted.

    UPDATE: I logged out of the MobiApp and closed it down, relogged in and posted a pic in Flora and did NOT get the parse error! But I tried creating a new thread and pasting and the below error is still happening.

    There's another issue that has been happening since the iOS6 upgrade, and I didn't mention it yet because I thought maybe our move would fix it, but it just happened again:

    • When I'm in the app and create a new thread or reply to a thread, if it's only a one line message you can't hit "send" (it's grayed out) until you hit "return".
    • This one is hard to explain: In the case of my 366, I will copy/paste the previous day's post into a new thread to edit. When I do that, I'm unable to see the whole bit that was pasted...the bottom part doesn't show, and you can't see it or get to it. You can edit the bits that are showing, but if you try to add a new line, you're unable to (or at least you can't "see" what you're doing). Once I insert my photo, the "invisible" pieces appear, usually below the photo - so the photo gets inserted inbetween the parts you can see and the parts you can't see. :confused:

    You know what Smooth, let me check at home over the wifi using the app and then my laptop.
    I have a sneaky suspicion that our network here at work may be causing my issues.
    We have a really strange proxy server.
    When I load iTunes on my laptop I have to enter proxy credentials about 5 times before I can do anything.

    I will let you know as soon as I have tried.
    Here's hoping that my :eek: work :eek: network is the cause of the problems I am experiencing.

    Just tried uploading a photo to the Gallery and on my PC it got stuck while uploading, and I tried it via Safari on the app and it wouldn't add the photo either.
