First used the filter Theme Park, second Magnetic, third Caffee Mocha, and fourth Pirate. I found the app easy to use but would not want to use as a solo app. I could see it being used in conjunction with other apps. Not terribly impressed with the filters and would not buy the extra ones. I like the high resolution. For free, not a bad app tool.

Thanks Delta - I pressed the filmstrip on the front panel and all I got was sharing options - didn't notice the other strip once you are in the camera part of the app. And Veevs, those photos are incredible! Will have to play with it some more today.

Played around with the app, paid the $1 for the other effects. Quick n' easy to use, I agree could be useful in
Conjunction with other apps. No fireworks, filters are weak. This image was taken using 6x6 and then processed in vintage camera - Emerald

Totally agree with your Reed, those filters did not do justice to your great photos!

Click on the settings 'cog' and at the top should be option to purchase.
    Thanks for the comments, appreciated.
Your shots of London are awesome. For some reason your images reminded me
Of family, have not seen my brother in 18 years.

so I just tweeted the Vintage Camera twitter page (they follow me) and linked them to our test. so he/she/them will most likely be poking around during the week and scanning the thread for feedback.

I actually purchased the pro version of this app when they had two different versions (free & pro). they now just have one central version with an iap which works as well. I didn't use this app very much and I actually just re-downloaded it for this test. looking forward to all the shots & feedback.

like I said before I didn't use this app much after I paid the dollar for the pro version when they had it. I was too caught up in the other apps I have (Snapseed, Filterstorm, etc) so I never really got around to it. the filters are pretty nice and this app is more for the average joe who wants nice pictures. just point, shoot, pick a filter, tweet or facebook status it, and bam you're done. I would like to see more features for advanced users like focus & exposure control, advanced tweaks for each filter (brightness/contrast/saturation/sharpening/hue, etc). those are incentives that would lean me towards going to this app whenever I want to take a photo. the filters & hi-res option are nice, but i think this app should do a bit more for my buck.

Jay that is an amazing shot! The processing is much better adding the filter twice. From reading the comments I guess I had the Pro version with the filters already loaded. I apologise for telling everyone this was a free app and feel bad some of you have had to pay to get the filters! The other observation I have is that it saved my files as .pngs. That messed up with my file transfers using my Photo Transfer App.

I've been twice - once in the summer and once in the winter. :) It is definitely an incredibly beautiful place!

It's just hard to get there - all my family is scattered and it never works out for them to come and visit me. My mom lived (up until recently) in AZ, and my other brother and best friends are in WA. So every year I have to choose who to visit. :( Most times I don't get to see my mom for 2 years at a time.... Luckily she now lives in WA so I can hit everybody up at once. :D

...except of course my brother, nephew and niece in Alaska.... but I'm going to try and get up there this summer!!
