Got here after leaving at 6AM. Took the tube and finished with a beautiful walk to Mosconne west. Came in on Koci Hernandez from LA.

It's 1am, just finishing getting these images up. Had a blast.today.

Wonderful time! I'm so happy to have met in person many iphoneographers... Koci was a beast! You could feel his energy invigorating everyone in the room!

Actually Koci is not from LA, but from the east bay, Oakland, across the bay from San Francisco, incidentally where I also happen to live.

That was taken on wednesday when there was only a few all day workshops including Mobile Masters, the real convention opened the next day, it was packed...

I was ready to come for the day but the one day conference was a bit pricey - and I couldn't stay for the weekend to get the true value - <sigh> next year I'll bite the app and just do it !

It was pricey and I wasn't sure I was going to make it there until Cindy Patrick emailed me to tell me she was going to present her workflow and feature Glaze heavily, so I rolled the dice and I am thrilled that I did, it was a wonderful day, I made a ton of awesome contacts and on a human, personal level it was outstanding. People were so nice... It was incredible in variety too. I'll try to write more about some amazing people I got to meet: Kuci, Dan Marcolina, Marty Yawnick, Nate of iphoneart, Jehns of ProCamera, Karen Divine, Paul Toussaint, knox, stephanie roberts, david leibowitz, peter palaan, so many great and interesting people...

The show itself on the other hand, like the techtalks, are more ordinary convention stuff, more crowded, bland and less inspiring, I could have skipped that.

You are right. I spoke to a guy that had been coming to macworld for many years. Apparently when Apple was part of this...they had over 5000 vendors and filled all three exhibit halls. But Apple dropped out 10 years ago. According to this "guy" they preferred to use their money for their stores to market themselves instead of MacWorld. Sad it was. I thought Saturday would have a lot more attendance...but it did not. I enjoyed the experience immensely. I met a lot of people using mobile device and educators using technology to empower their education effort.
