    Posted this in anticipation of tonights over the air ios update hoping they would open it up. Just updated and it is not there yet....

    Just to confirm - they have found the coding embedded in the iOS but it is dormant - it WILL be coming in an upcoming ios update and will allow you to pan the camera whilst it takes a series of shots, which will then be stitched together.

    Looks like they're still trying to spike Microsoft's guns. Sounds a lot like Photosynth to me.
