Google launches social photo app, but quietly

    Google seems to be on a roll at the moment. With Google+ still hardly out of the box comes news of a new social photography service called Photovine. It's still very hush-hush and available by invitation only but Appolicious has a lot more details on it.

    I immediately thought this would be a tag on to G+ but, after reading the stuff on their site (and downloading the app cos it's Green lol) I guess it may be a totally separate venture in their Master Plan... :alien:

    'Master Plan' is the right word, Rog. I thought they'd be concentrating all their photo activities through their Picasa brand but Photovine seems to be something different.

    Update: The Photovine app is now in the App Store. Sadly you can't use it unless you have an invite. I'm still waiting. :(
