    The trees are very cathartic ... literally. I am spending hours experimenting with images of trees against bland or startk backgrounds and trying to bring the images to life. The forms are amazing and they lend themselves so well to layering and blending.
    I have learned that creating sketch images (PhotoArtista-Sketch or PowerSketch) with strong dark lines and minimal shading and then blending these with the tree images really makes the silhouettes pop to the foreground.
    Using the wooden door as a base texture really added something as well.
