It has histogram, ISO, shutter speed readout (they claim true readout). Then they have metering function, long exposure for low light and they have RAW format (not really RAW as in DSLR but lossless compression to JPEG format).

It is pretty sick!!! Anyone has this app yet?

And so the line between the iPhone and stills cameras blurs even more!

I have no idea what this means....  LOL.

All of this sounds a little too much like a "regular" camera with all the complicated settings I steer clear of.... :p

Not really, just set it on the highest quality setting and it's no more complicated than camera+ :)

the RAW file isn't "raw" as you'd expect though, it's a TIFF file but still meant to be pretty good. However, you have to get that file off from your iTunes and then you can process on your PC/Mac, not on the iPhone (unless you know of an app that could handle that).

Thanks Gary! I just hear these words (kinda like when I hear math talk or business speak) and my mind takes a vaca. I'm sure I could learn it...I just get bored. ;) :D

Downloaded it this morning. I've attached some sample photos. All were taken only with the app. No additional editing.

Amazing "off the cuff" shots! I just downloaded the app. Gonna need some time to figure it out.

I agree, for straight out the iPhone these are certainly gobsmackingly good Bryan...

Of course it is nothing at all with your new found expertise with the art form is it - you seem to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary whatever you are doing it with...

Guess I may be shelling out for yet another non-Free app then... :D

One of the early comments (not on this forum) was that battery life was depleted very rapidly and that the phone heated up as well when using the app. Has anyone else experienced this? I would like to have an iPhone camera with the controls of my DSLRs, but my first reaction is to bypass this one because of the casual use of the term RAW when they are actually referring to an unedited TIFF file. If they are misrepresenting that, then what else is being misrepresented? That being said, bpahia posted some very impressive images.

Got it this morning and I'm pretty sure this one is going to make its way very quickly to the top of my go to camera apps list.

For the confused (and I'm one!) a full manual for 645 Pro is available as a PDF download from the dev's website.
